Arctic dads knitting project

I've have to find something nice to knit before the winter is over. Winter always brings out the knitting man in me. I thought about it this morning, what to knit, while drinking tea and looking after the kids. Luckily, we have the internet here up in the north. Looking up on “nice knitting stuff”, I found this marvelous knitting project, right in my ally. Beautiful.

So this evening kids will be kids, housely duties will be left unattended, and I will have some me time.

I'll post some nice pictures of the result when I'm done. I'll make one for each of the girls. Pink I guess...

Still snow i Tromsø - bummer

Every thing is sad and much too white. The snow is covering the land and it's cold. Too cold. I'm longing for summer, less cloths, more sun, ice cream. In the meantime, I blogg, knit, bake, take pictures of my books and things i've knitted lying around in the house.

I'm arctic dad, the dad in the north, writing about things that 1000's of others write about - but I do it from the north, from a place where no one lives.

Here is a picture of my porch. It's too much snow. The curtains is reflected in a artistic way in the window. Lovely. My nose is itching. I'm glad the children are asleep. They are so lovely. I'll post some pictures of them some day.

I drink vine, look at my books, and wonder: what do I knit next?
